WORK WITH ME
individual therapy
Pinewood Counseling’s promise is to provide a sanctuary for exploration, healing, and growth. Come as you are, as I walk alongside you on your journey.
Emily’s Therapy Approach
What if I told you there are no ‘bad’ parts of you?
Now, that doesn’t mean there aren’t things you want to be different, but shifting our framework from disdain towards our parts to believing they serve a valuable function can be life-changing.
All behavior makes sense in context.
Emily's approach is to gently invite us inward, sit with our parts in curiosity, and organize the tension we feel. Great hope comes when we move away from fighting our anxiety, sadness, and worries—and move towards inviting us to heal. Her deepest desire is that her clients may embrace compassion for their most wounded parts.
